Too much to peel

If we had to peel all the potatoes sold in our KFC restaurants as French fries, we would have to peel 70’000’000 potatoes a year! Thank goodness for fresh cut fries

UPGC provides our customers with information and advisory services related to food, packaging and non-food costs such as equipment and the distribution of goods, including industry benchmarks and commodity-cost trends.

UPGC is actively involved in conventions, trade shows, regional franchisee meetings, Operations Excellence Committees, New Product Development Teams and Cost Savings Initiative Teams in an effort to gain insight into our market, its opportunities and challenges and are able to provide shareholders with a diverse range of the most up-to-date information and insight possible, particularly with respect to inflation in the key commodities which affect the system's basket of goods.  Our goal is to effectively communicate this data to our shareholders.  The website is a primary vehicle to do this.
